My question is: I went to a clinic like 5 years ago, they told me it was $35 the visit, they'll send me the bill, but never got it, now the collection agency is claiming $124, they said they bought the account from the clinic, but I know for sure something is wrong, they were charging $35 at that time. What could I do ? Thanks !!!

is this not a public forum? and why does a guest have to register before participating? i don't understand why a thread would be locked. there are certainatly other threads much longer, seems like favortism and that guest are not welcomed on the forum

hello, allied interstate has been calling my house for weeks with harrasing phone calls and horrible language. Several callers have accused my youngest sister (14) of being the woman they are trying to collect from, who by the way does not leave at my residence. The collecters have called her a liar and used inappropriate language. I wanty to thank you for this site i am using it to collect information on how to make this harrasment stop. please file a suit against allied interstate, it is a business with no morals, common courtesy or respect for the law.

I would like to copy and paste and email that I received from the Ohio AG's office in regards to Geneva Roth, but I don't want to copy the part with my name. How do I copy this and paste it, but not copy the part with my name? I'm not computer smart when it comes to these kind of things.

Hey Everyone, I see so many post on here telling people to block ACH debits. Well I just want to tell you all sometimes thats not enough. Look at the most recent post about this. I have been posting that they try the paper check routine and sure enough they did. Please be careful on this because paper checks are honered at the banks. Hope this helps someone. KYSIDE38

I have 5 payday loans and stopped debit on all of them a couple of weeks ago. Then on of them (US Fast Cash) presented a check (which I did not authorize) to my bank in the amount of $560.00 which I had stop payment and returned. Another one (Cash Transfer Centers) is demanding that I Quick Collect $439.00 to pay a $300 loan or they will contact my employer to have my wages garnished. I know in Indiana that, that can't happen without a court order so that is not too much of a concern to me.

I have a collection notice from midland credit management for a debt that was charged off and then bought it. Based on the date of last payment, there attempt to collect is in violation of the statute of limitations in the state that I reside. How do I get this debt dismissed via the law?
