Would like to work out a payment plan and would also like to know the full amount owed.

I got a call from a blocked number, the man said he was from NRS National Recovery Solutions in Califorbia, they represented Macys Department Stores wanting me to pay for a Macy's account that my ex-wife ran up and the courts ordered her to pay it in our divorce! The guys name was "John" said that the sheriffs were going to my work in 5 days to serve me with a lawsuit and garnishment if I didn't pay them or post date a check for the end of the month. The credit card had a balance of about $600.00 and these clowns wanted $2,599.97 because of the interest late fees and attorney fees.

I have a pay day loan from a lawn shop in which u had to write a check for to secure it. They are going to cash the check on my next pay day however. Kist my job and won't be able to pay it back. Im also going to have to c,one out. Y account so they don't hit it up with NSF fees. Is there any legal ramifications (like bad check laws) that will happen in regards to this? I live in Texas and I'm worried I'm going to get into trouble. The loan amount was $600 with fees and the like the check was written for $740. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

i have 2 payday loans that im trying to clear off. the total is $520.00 including interest. how do i go about this?

Unfortunately I fell victim to online payday fraud in the past year. Long story short, took out one in desperation which soon led to another to pay the interest on that one then another to pay the interest on that one and so on until I had 5. I found this forum and went through the steps to posted on another thread about dealing with them. I've revoked ACH privledges, filed a complaint with the state I live in (Colorado) and sent emails requesting overpayment refunds to 4 of them. The 5th is a bit stickier.

I would like to know if anyone has ever been sued by a payday loan company in Louisiana. The answers from State licensing is dubious at best...not really sure they know. I have 13 :( payday loans and need to know if i close my account if they will actually come into the state and try to sue me in civil court or cut their losses

CRS has been harassing my family and me at work for a debt they say I owe from 2006. They threatened legal action and a summons much like the other stories on this site. I disputed the debt and had it removed from my credit report as unverified. They still continue to call and threaten stating they are viewing my report and the items are still there. I have a $500 deduction from my bank account which I have linked back to them. Isn't this illegal? Should I dispute the charge with my bank? If the items are removed from my credit report they cannot collect correct?

Allied has called my home and asked for my daughter who is an adult and lives in another state for over ten years. I am registered on the National Do Not Call Registry. Please advise.

My lawyer has advised me that I need to list all of my payday loans--licensed or not. Logically, I question this--as I havent heard a word from many of them since I closed my bank account 4 months ago. And I know they cannot legally get money. But, my question is this..Has anyone included illegal lenders in your list of lenders..and have they responded? And did you have an opportunity to dispute the amounts owed? I am in Ohio and will be in a 100% plan.
