I need your reassurance again! I signed with Superior almost 2 months ago. I have been screening my calls or telling people I'm my sister. I did talk to Master card & gave them the info. I just got a call from a law firm Zucker & Assoc. They said Disc. sent them my bill. I told them I was with a debt settlement, & they basically said too bad. I gave them my debt counselor phone#. Whats going to happen? My counselling seervice isn't open yet, they are in Colorado. Please help me, did I do right to sign with an agency if this is the results?

I recieved a settlement offer from Midland Credit Managment paid the settlement amount and they still list the unpaid amount on my credit report. What can I do?

I just called Kieth Severson, a name I have found in my research of allied interstate. I admit I called him at an odd time (1am possibly 2-3 am where he was) and he admitted to working for them a "few years ago" I don't feel I was unjustified in my trying to reach anyone representing allied, when they have been calling me many, many times over the past few months. He said I would get a complaint, or he would report me, I said for what calling a number I found on the internet? and he hung up. Am I in the wrong at all for trying to get to the bottom of this?

I like to know is it asking to much if I pay a settlement with midland credit management; that they would provide a letter of completed payment of debt to the company and removal of debt from my credit report as they promised.

Oy! I've posted this twice in the wrong forum, so I apologize in advance. My husband had a payday loan from Payday ok last year. We just recently paid it off, it took 8 months. I'm sure we overpaid. I am in Maryland and just recently found out they are illegal. Is there anyway to get the money that was overpaid back from them in addition to some others? We had several and they were all paid off in Feb of this year. Just wondering as that would be great! Not too hopeful though. We are now in a whole other bind with these pdl's which I am taking control of!
