i went to a college orientation for a motth where i was in the wilderness. When i got back i moved into an apartment and i had to pay the deposit for utilities rent ect. I forgot to change my mailing adress. When my parents started to get mail from the creditors they called me to remind me of the credit card bills i have. So now im in over 500 dollars in dept and i am not able to make the minimum payments since i have to pay my utilities and rent ect. I am only able to make one or two minimum payments

Is there a statude of limitations on how long a judgement may be collected? I have an old judgement which I tried to pay on a while back, but was told I did not owe anything and the account did not exist. A couple years ago, I had state taxes(in the state where this debt was) taken out of my pay by mistake. When I filed my taxes for a refund of this money, I received a letter back stating that the refund had went towards this debt. Any suggestions? :?

Can someone help me with terminology please...I have heard or read news stories about finance companies and auto dealerships that somehow inflate someones incomes to get them approved for an auto loan. I know this is illegal but if someone knows more about this practice can you let me know what the terminology for it is or how it works, thanks

I'v tried everything, most companies claim they cannot help me because Im single and only been at my current job for 2 months. Double garnishment? Can some one help? My husband is being garnished for an account that I never received notice on by Ford Credit. The garnished his check based on a commonwealth law in NM. The never notified my of any debt, since my mother had paid it out but Ford Credit says that it is more and that they do not have the account. The lawyer that is handle ling the garnishment for Ford Credit has not provided and has refuse to provide any proof of notification.

They own nothing,no house,no car,and no insurance then what?
