Good morning, Has anyone here had any dealings with Cash Call? A relative of mine has a loan with them. I've seen their ads on TV so I'm assuming they are legal in California but the finance charges seem as outrageous as a pdl. I've looked throgh the posts and can't seem to find much info on them. Can anyone help? I'm also still trying to find anything on Paragon Funding. I've sent the letter to them 2X but still nothing from them. It's my last pdl.

fyi------foreclosure in missouri and texas are 21 day foreclosures which means that when you get the certified letter stating that foreclosure has begun you have 21 days to catch with your loan with attorney fees or to pay off the loan. In all other states the timeline varies because they go thru the court system which is really slow. In illinois it usually takes about a year for a foreclosure to happen.

if you get a call from a loan or credit company offering you a loan on the phone or internet. the best way to check is to ask the loan company for an address for their company or for them to fax you a letter with the loan offer on company letterhead. then call the BBB office for that city and ask if they are an area member and ask the BBB for the state bank or lender regulatory agency phone number. Call that state office and just ask if company ####### is licensed in the state as a bank or credit or loan agency because all states require this.

these three companies are scams. hawkins group number in canada land line is 416-777-7775. they tried calling me about a loan a this number appeared on my caller id. fairmount investment and bayfield credit the same company. the same voice mail message greeting and the same phone provider ez-tel. if you got trouble with fairmount call bayfield and complain.

I did a lot of stupid things as a kid, even into my early twenties, and now I have to fess up to my mistakes, however I find myself with a huge burden to take care of, and even more of a problem to do what I need to do to proceed with my life as I need to. I am fully familiar with the fdcpa but most collectors seem to ignore it, so I am hoping to get everything straight here, and maybe start the process of debt consolidation, or get on the right track of paying everything off in a timely manner.

Back on Sept 25 I requested that PaydayOK mark me paid in full since I have paid them approx $2700 on $1300 worth of loans over the past 2 yrs. They agreed to mark me paid in full. So, I figured that I overpaid them ( alot!! ) so I sent request for refund for $700.00 back on Oct 5. I received a letter in the mail today that they have approved my request and will be sending me a refund check in the next 10 biz days!! woo hoo!!!!!!!! :D All I can say is not to give up!! I found this site back in early Sept after being scammed out of $2000 by an internet loan company.

I as well have been ripped off. I was unable to get into my account and realized 250.00 was put into my account without my permission and now taking 75.00 for the last 2 weeks. I need some info as well on how to locate them. Is it legal to close account and reopen to avoid paying them? thanks for your input.
