About 5 months ago, someone left a note at the door. The note says urgent business matter and has a name/address of a law firm. I ignored it until now and want to start fixing my credit. I pulled my credit report last night: Negative items: 1. $3100 BOA credit card, collection/chargeoff, but I remember the balance was only about $1800. 2. Different BOA credit card, (1) 30 days late, TU reports closed but the other 2 reports open 3. $40 SCE electric bill, collection/chargeoff, but all 3 CRA reports "now paying/making payments" Collections: 1.

Anyway, they said "We want to thank you for being a good customer and want to make you an offer to pay off your loan...please call..." So, the reason I am posting this is because I have read nothing but bad news about them. Are they being nice just so I will call back and then they start getting nasty? Ideas, thoughts?

Pharmacies never stop calling. The Do Not Call list does nothing to them. I have reported countless numbers numerous times, and the calls continued until I changed my number. Threaten them, cuss at them, hang up on them, no matter -- they call back sometimes later that same day. On international calls (which many pharmacy calls are), our Do Not Call list is totally useless!

I am curently having trouble with payday loans. I owe 6 companiesand live in ohio. only 3 of them have post dated checks and by law if they bounce i could be taken to court and be sued for 3 times what i owe. I have just lost my job and dont know what to do please help me
