I have a debt that was charged off by a credit card company. The date that it was opened was in 6/00 and I never paid on it. It happened when I was younger and unemployed. My question is when did the date for the SOL start? On the date it was opened 6/00? Or the date that it was closed/charged off by the CC company?

Okay, I know if I searched the threads long enough I would be able to find the answer to my question (you guys have enough knowledge to write a book on these subjects!), but I thought you could tell me faster than I could find in. So, I wrote "the letter" revoking authorization of withdrawing funds from my account to the tendollar people and finally got a response.

Hey Just wanted to let you know I am alive... I have not been doing to good. I have been placed in bed and going bonkers. The diabetes hit my left leg and for a while I was scared I was going to lose it. I am undergoing some serious tests this week. Everybody please keep me in your prayers. I was told that this would be taken care of, but as of the last statement it has not been handled. This late payment occured when this office took over my account from Credicure. when parents or brother ,sister die who is responsiable for thier unpaid bills? Lets say they did not own a home,no bank account,and in the end no money,the car has been repo,they basically have nothing except unpaid credit card bills,cable ,and still owe for the repo car. Just curious we know someone who is living from friend to friend and he owes the irs and everyone else but he is always on the move and has nothing in his name,so who pays when parents or someone you know dies and has nothing.
