Hello. I have been working with a debt settlement company for the past 20 months. Overall things are going pretty well. I only have one account left to settle out of 7 placed into the program. This is more a curiosity question than anything. I always check the BBB.org web site before doing business with anyone, as I did with the debt settlement company before enrolling with them. I know I shouldn't base my choices soley on what I get from the BBB site, but it helps make decisions.

Well in the last 12 months Ive made some bad choices and not paying my bills was one of them...Ive recently got a job and am trying to get my life in order...I figured this was the most effective way to start. Thanx Phill

I go to court in the morning (pre-trial conference) for one of my storefront PDL's. Argument is prepared, guns blazin! I am ready! I am not backing down! Just say NO to settlement offer! LOL

I checked my email and discovered a nasty email from them telling me to Quick Collect the rest of the loan to them. They told me they could initiate an investigationto make sure the info on the application was not false! They talked about Federal Bureau regulation and laws and suing me. Any suggestions?

They are crooks, I defaulted on my PDL with them along with the others I have and I am working with T & C However one minute they tell me that they will work with T & C and the next time they call me they tell me that they wont and I need to send payment, WEll T & C already sent you a payment I told them, Thier response was well it has to go to several different places before we see it to post it to your account, SO I ask the guy well why dont you give me your physical address where you are since you are the one always calling me about this and we can get rid of the middle man BS and the pay

I am a 20 year old student at Tomball College and the main reason i\'m in debt right now is because i don\'t have a co-signer for my credit card or car loan. Because of that, I am paying 14.7% interest on my car (and that\'s down from 21% on my last car) and am upside down on my loan. i have never missed a payment and the only reason i have been late recently is largely due to the fact that i\'m paying $450 a month for a $13000 car when i should be paying about $250.
