I am considering going with Superior Debt services for $41,000 in credit card debt. They want to charge 15% of this amount to work with me. Is this the norm for most companies?

I previously had a discover card account that some collection agency bought. I was taken to a pretrial court a few months ago to meet with CA and try to work out a pmt plan. I told CA attorney the debt is out of sol. He insist that it wasn't and said we can go to trial, so i told him fine, because I wasn't going to settle on a debt that was out of sol. I sent them paper work to validate the debt that they bought from discover card and i have yet to get any debt validation such as when the account was opened etc.

:( I noticed that my PDL'S have interest rates between 650-780% and are not licensed in the state of Florida. Florida's allowable interest rate is 10% of the principle. Aren't their rates illegal? Please help; I'll so frustrated!!

At 13K in debt, I'm having trouble qualifying to rent a home for the next 12 months. My family may be without a home Oct. 1. I've made mistakes in the past, but I'm going to make this work. My husband and I just got married in July and paid for our wedding by ourselves-- mostly on our credit cards. Now we have too many credit cards and barely enough money (and some days not even enough) to make the minimum payments. I've been late paying them and now our credit is so bad that we can't get a consolidation loan from anywhere?!?! NEED HELP!!!

Im a 25 year old single mother. I was diagnosed with cancer about a year and a half ago. Basically I have just gotten behind on alot of small bills. I wasnt able to work alot during my chemo therapy and so I was living paycheck to paycheck when I had one. My boyfirend left me because of the added stress of money and my illness. I have a couple payday loans I have out a storage unit bill of 300.00 so I cant get anything out of my storage unit at this time and a I need to find a place to live. I am scheduled to start back to college in october.
