debt, debt and more debt

I have roughly 30+K in debt and have been out of work for over two years. Min wage employment hasn't put food on the table, let alone let me pay off my debts. I have never filed bankruptsy and am trying to avoid doing that. Most my debts are credit cards dating back 4-6 years, bad checks debt and school loans. The school loans I'm not worried about since they are small and $50 in payments a month are managable. I don't know if I should ignore the debt and let it come off my credit eventually or make payments. I don't see payments of more than $5 a month possible since I own so many people ..

Does Sonic agree to consolidation

Has anyone every had Sonic to agree to a consolidation? If so, did they give you a hard time? Did they still send over a wage assignment to your employer even after the consolidation agreement and did they report it to the credit bureau?

stupid credit cards

I guess i am not very ressponsibe with credit cards. I get to my first duty station in Alaska (very boring in the winter for me), so i use my credit cards to get a nice drumset and a lot of other cool stuff. Then on top of that i sign my life away to go to hawaii(honnollulu, very nice place!), but i'm stuck with no money so I turn to credit cards cause i'm not going to sit arraound during what could be a once in a life time experiance. To sum it all up I suck at getting in debt.

debt consolidation companies in mass.

I'm thinking about getting into a debt consolidation program because I've been behind with my credit card payments and I'm simply having difficulties paying them. I look at the ranking chart for MA, and I'm wondering if people here have deal with the companies listed there. Besides looking at the rating there I also want to hear opinions about them here. Does anyone here know anything? Here are the companies listed: American Consumer credit counseling, Inc.

Hi. I have browsed this fruitful forum for a bit of time now. I am quite familiar with the regular posters. Something in particular I have noticed FLYING CATS INCREDIBLEHELP BUILDING WEALTH PASSION HUNTING Are each of you the same poster? I have noticed startling similarities in your verbage. If so, I say that is a wonderful thing, as you are so humble to not want others to think you know too much. But alas, I think you should embrace your knowledge. Thus, I will be joining you.

Does it show up on your credit report when you do a debt consolidation program? Do you have to be past due on your accounts to start a consolidation program?

Gave up - changed phone number

I have gotten so many phone calls from various collectors for persons that had my phone number over 2 years ago. Some of the collectors have become rude and refuse to respond when telling them I AM NOT that person. Plus, some collectors are calling, leaving no messages....just their number on my caller ID. Today I bit the bullet had number changed to non-published. When they now call they will get message phone disconnected. Did locate person they are trying to call...the guy just laughed saying how funny and said...at least they aren't calling me. Hope this ends the mess.
