I'm located in Texas and I sent the cease and desist letters to the payday loan companies; however with little response as of now. I closed my account with Bank of America and they put a stop payment on just the loans that were coming out. They stated they couldn't put a block on the whole account and that they had to do it separately.

I took out two payday loans over the internet in 2010 (big mistake) and didn't pay it back cause I didn't have the money to pay it back since my husband wasn't working. I'm getting phone calls from both companies saying they are going to charge me for fraud well they have someone calling from a agency claiming to be a investigator. I worked out a deal with one and then a few days later I get a phone call from someone from the main company saying they're going to take me to court if I don't pay, so I'm confused.

Good thing I was the one that answered the call, otherwise, it would've been an epic embarrassment! Now, I'm paranoid and afraid. How can I make sure they don't call my employer?

This company is unethical since they are calling people's employments to make collection calls. That's harassment.

:(Can I offer to pay amount owed in return for them to vacate (not mark as satisfied) the judgement on my credit report?

I am trying to cash a personal check written out to me. My concern is if the check does happen to bounce for whatever reason, would it be the person who wrote the check that would be held responsible or would the person cashing it be responsible? Also, what percentage do they usually take out when they cash it?

I currently have 4 payday loans out in the state of MO: CornerStone Partners, Incline Services, SGQ Processing, and CashNet USA. It is to the point that my bank account keeps going deeper in the negative and when my paychecks go in I have NO money. I need help to stop them and try to figure out something different to pay them back. Can someone please help me?

Fredrick J Hannah sent me a summons. I asked for proof. Never received it but since I didnt want them to move forwared with garnishment I agreed to a settlement of 500.00 (300.00 limit). I paid half on the 30th of March (how they got my account #) and they were to take out the rest the following month. No problem thought I was finished with them. Nope, last week they placed a garnishment on my account for 1,889.00!!! I called them, they said if I could send proof they would dismiss the hold. They wanted a copy of the whole month bank statement!

I have been getting a call from this collection and they want me to pay 1900$ on a 1200$ debt from 2003 which was payed through a divorce in 2005 and is documented but still say I owe??? :-?

I received a phone call yesterday from a law office I presume calling about a pay day loan balance for BMG corporation. She called family members of mine and told them im being investigated for check fraud. She told me they will be notifying my job that I'm involved in a legal matter and that my chapter 7 bankruptcy didn't take care of my pay day loan debt because it's considered check fraud. I looked the number up and saw that they have done this to other people as well. So I told her to take me to court since when i requested validation of the debt she refused.
