I need some advice on how to deal with storefront pdls, please. I simply do not have the money to pay them back tomorrow (I have 2) after being hit with all of the fees from online pdls. I'm going to close my bank acct. and consolidate my internet pdls, but I am really anxious about having to go into a storefront pdl and ask to work something out. I guess since I've never had to do it, I'm expecting the worst. Anyone who's been there, done that and lived to tell about it have any words of wisdom? Thanks, Tiffany

I am in a PDL trap. I have about 16 loans. I need help. I live in NC.

I got an email from a company in Ireland that wants to send me US money orders and wants me to cash them and then wire the money to them minus 10% for my time etc. and the fees to western union, This sounds way to easy which means there is a catch somewhere has anyone ever gotten emails of this nature?

Is the Debt Varification Letter only used for collection agency or can you use it for the original creditor?

I have paid cash today ltd over 479.00 for a 200.00 loan this is not my only pdl but, I froze my checking account because everytime I would ask them to pay off my loan they just would take more fees out instead. So, I received a e-mail from them today stating: Unfortunately your recent payment on 8/11/06 has been returned by your bank ACCOUNT FROZEN It is of course possible that there has been some administrative error and if this is the case, we would urge you to contact us and your bank to clarify the situation.

I have until January to move out of my parent's house, but I'm terrified I won't be able to acheive this goal. I have been unemployed since May of this year and have been laid off two jobs. I just did a career fair with Kohl's this past weekend, but after I saw that they do a credit check, I might not get this job either. On top of this, I don't know if a decent apartment will accept me. I'm seeking student loan differment this week, and I feel confident that I'll get it, but I'm concerned about what to do in the meantime while I wait for steady income.

I just received a phone call leaving this number as a call back #? I have dealt with the shady Anthony Galloway, Interstate, etc? Is this just one of those companies? I have a feeling this is because they told me the same stuff, to have my attorney contact them, good luck, that bologna. Any other companies actually leave you important information. Does anyone have any feedback on this. I thought they were done calling me, but apparantly not! Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!
