I have a couple of questions. First of all does anybody know a debt consolidation agency in PA who works with payday loans? Also we have been in chapter 13 bankruptcy for two years(this is where we repay all of our debts for those of you who say we are trying to get away without paying) and want to know how this effects everything.

After searching this site for some time last week I found the email address for rio resources. I then emailed them and told them that I would not pay more than the amount I owed on my loan. I even let them know that I gave them two weeks advance notice to not debit my account because the account had been closed. I was told "I cannot stop the debit." For the past week I have been sending them emails letting them know of my payment plan and the only thing I ever got in return was either nothing or an email saying that I have 7 days to accept their offer.

We got our bill from Verizon Wireless yesterday and it stated on the statement that Verizon Wireless has stopped charging the 3% FET tax and you may be able to claim a refund of the tax on the 2006 federal tax returns for FET paid after February 2003. It also stated that the IRS website will have more information about this by July 31, 2006.

Here I am again to tell you what has transpired with my situation having to do with Lawgistix..... You need to be aware of the Arbitration Clause that some credit card companies are trying to push. If yo have Chase Manhattan/Mann Bracken Law Firm, they are going to turn your account over to the National Arbitration Forum and it will be set for a hearing there. This is the same as court. Let me repeat that, it is the SAME AS COURT...........do not ignore it. But to be truthful even if you go ahead and do what they want and submit claims against, it won't do any good.

Hello ~ I NEED HELP!!! :shock: I have a total of two payday loans out right now ($300.00 principle with United Cash Loans and $500.00 principle with Cash Transfer Centers; the interest/renewal fee is $90.00 and $135.00, respectively; due to renew/pay in full on 7/28/06). I am a resident of North Carolina, and (after reading previous emails on your website) understand I need to first close my Checking account & reopen another. However, I fear the bank may not allow me to open a second checking account due to multiple & previous NSFs (paid in full) from these loan companies.

I have about 45,000 in debt which 30,000 is at 30% interest. I am not delinquent on any bills, yet. Bills are very tight and money is starting to run thin. I am checking out different consolidation options.
