Talent-Nelson file legislation to protect U.S. troops from predatory payday lenders

WASHINGTON, D.C. U.S. Senators Jim Talent (R-Mo.) and Bill Nelson (D-Fla.) today announced they offered a bipartisan amendment to the Defense Authorization Bill to stop predatory payday lending practices targeted at our servicemen and women. The Talent-Nelson amendment would limit the Annual Percentage Rate (apr) that payday lenders can charge soldiers and their spouses for a loan.

Pulled a prank on my mom19 years 1 month ago I called my mom today to tell her she was a grandma again and she went crazy. She asked me, what was I trying to do, make her hair go all grey? I said that was the mission. Anyways, she started asking me when I was due and all that good stuff. I started laughing and finally told her that she was a grandma to a new black lab puppy. She said if she was closer, she would come over and kick my butt. We play jokes on each other all the time, and I got her good this time, but she will get even. I am waiting patiently for the revenge. :D

Wage garnishment19 years 1 month ago I'm having a little problem with mycashtime.com. I took out a payday loan and was unable to pay it in full. I set up a payment plan and I have made two payments on the loan. I have advised them that I need to extend my payment plan over two more pay periods and they are telling me if I back out of our deal that they will garnish my wages. Can they do that?
