OMG!!! These people are so rude. They kept calling my relatives looking for me, why they did not have my phone number, I do not know. So, I called them. Turns out they had like 5 or 6 numbers on me that I have never even heard of. The rep said she would remove my relatives phone numbers, I doubt she did. Then I asked for something to be mailed to me. This is the conversation: rep: Why do we need to mail you something? me: Because I have never heard of you, and never recieved anything in writing.

I was just wondering if doing a debt consolidation is bad against your credit score. Will it always be on your credit report.

I checked my equifax credit report and see a couple of inquiries from equifax canada from late 2004 and early 2005. can they check my credit here without my authorization? isn't my SSN supposed to be protected? i certainly haven't provided them my SSN.

iposted last week i needed some phone numbers for rio resources and ten dollar payday well the numbers i got are 615-262-7018 for ten dollar payday and i called it and it wasn't the right number man said it was his cell phone told me they was a fraud. ok now for rio number 804-687-3959 is a residential number and not rio i really need the real numbers please. it will probably be a week before i can come back and get them unless someone posts it within the hour. thanks

Okay, I received a phone call from this Place on 7/13/06 that I wrote about in this post. http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/settlement/prelitigations-threats-1.html She left me a message on 7/13/06 and I did call her back but that conversation didn't go anywhere. Then I believe she tried to call again on 7/14/06 from a restricted number again, but DID NOT leave a message.

I also have an account with these folks for a AVON bill. And receive phone calls. I must say that so far, I have not has an threats other than an attorney wants to retrieve my account. The lady was nice about it. Though she wanted me to go to a Western Union and call her back with the control #, in which I did not do. But I did however call her back, and the ext. she gave me was not even hers. If I decide to pay this debt, (having doubts from reveiwing all the comments within this site), does anyone know if the money actually go towards the debt, or do they scam it and keep it?

I just checked my credit report and noticed there is an inquiry from TU Canada/Collectcorp from a couple months ago. I moved to the US from Canada 6 years ago and have very good credit here (Fico score 770). First - I have never been contacted by these people either by voicemail or letter so i don't know what it is really about. Secondly, I have nothing here that could possibly be in collection. I do have some issues in canada as a result of divorce and my ex not paying the bills the divorce decree required of him. is there any way to get this inquiry removed from my file?

I am trying to send this firm a cease and desist letter...I sent one via overnight, return receipt requested, and so far they have not been available to receive the letter, per the USPS. So, I would like to fax them the letter, but I have been unable to find a fax number anywhere. Does anyone have a fax number for Thomas K. Bamford, 1201 Richardson Drive, Suite 201, Dallas, TX 75083?
