Hello everyone! I'm new here and hope everyone is doing ok. I have a couple of credit cards i want to consolidate and I submitted my information 2 days ago and got a call today. The quote they gave me for consolidating the 2 cards was about the same as paying the minimum for the cards itself, they do charge a $29/month service charge... I asked if that was the lowest they could go (with the quote) and they said yes, but like i said i'm not really saving here. How does this work should i get more opinions...or can I? Will I get more calls? thanks in advance! Nate

Well, I took the plunge, I sent my first letter out with all the Virginia state regulatory codes listed....why am I nervous...the worst they could do is ignore it, I also emailed a copy to the branch manager at my bank, she is aware of what has been going on and said she would do whatever she could to help. She knows a couple of members on the board of Financial Institutions for Virginia and said something must be done to govern all payday lenders.....I agree

I got in to these payday loans last month have now it is spiraling out of control. I have 6 of them, not only for my finances but I got them to help out my mother who had to leave work to take care of my younger sister who has cancer. Please help with any info to get a loan to pay these off and help me breathe. By the way I have bad credit, so hense the help. Thanks

Wondering if I have paid and paid Finance charges through the nose to these PDL's and I have them listed with T & C and are contacted to see if they will accept my payment through T & C what is to keep them from saying that I still owe 1000 on a 600 loan or something along those lines? Did I put that right? I have this fear that what I listed with T & C is what I feel that I owe them which is the balnce that I borrowed NO more fees! Hi there! Ive been searching the forum since I signed up this morning. (Hello hello) The info Ive found here has been so useful! Its nice to know that Im not alone in this. Just some background info... Back in 2000 I had some debt issues that have since gone to collections and one almost went to court. (which im settling and will be paid off in OCT- FINALLY :D ) Since then I now have about $6500 worth of CC debt and just cant keep up the payments. This is the first month Ive been late since they were opened.
