I had a loan with quik payday and they all of the sudden took the entire amount i owed them plus interest from my checking account without notice and their website was gone. Now i see they were sued and fined, that was about the time they debited my account for the balance i owed. i dont suppose it is at all possible to get any of the money back that i paid in excess interest fees from having the loan rolled over and over for several months? Who would i contact about this?

I live in Indiana back in January I fell behind on my bills and had to take out some internet payday loans I have three and now I am unable to pay them back and keep up with my bills I had to close my checking account is there any way I can consolidate these into one payment so I can get rid of them?

I got my first call from Russell Crenshaw today; although I didn't actually speak to him- my colleague did, and he left a message with her saying he was returning my phone call (which is crap) and that he represented some place, the name of which she couldn't remember. I read through the threads concerning Mr. Crenshaw, and I have 2 questions for anyone who knows anything about this delightful soul: 1) Does he work for Interstate Wireless or United Federal Bank, and which payday lender does he represent?

I spent the day upset because of a certified letter with "court documents" saying that I had a default judgement against me and that it was from the Precinct 1 judge and that garnishment procedures were in motion. I calmed down in a hurry when I remembered that in Texas they can't garnish my wages- then this "court document" did not even have a judge's NAME much less a signature on it!!! It said that I had not answered the petition they filed in April. Well, I called the court's clerk.....they have my answer disputing the debt - filed on April 26.

Hi there, A while ago, I got a phone call from MCM claiming (out of the blue, to my mind anyway) that I owed them a huge sum of money for a debt from years ago from a credit card account they purchased. Now, I have had my share of debt and made some bad choices in college, but I make an effort whenever an old debt comes up to pay it off. The problem is, I don't remember ever having this card they claimed I had, and I don't think this debt is mine. They have my soc., and claim that I made one payment on the account.

I have received phone calls from Allied on my cell. Using a recorded message, the company is not identified. The message says to call a 1-800 number about important business. When I call back, I always make sure I use a different telephone (preferably one with an unknown number). I never give them my name or any personal information. I ask what company it is and what type of business they are in. They tell me they are allied interstate; a collection agency. They ask for the telephone number where the call was received. When I give it to them, they ask me if I am ???
