Hi everyone, There's a company that tried collecting a phone company debt that I owed in March of this year. They're called Encore, and I have read many things about them on this forum. I wrote them an electronic check in march, and it cashed a few days later. Now, three months later, I still owe the phone company (who hired in Encore) money, and Encore says they cannot do anything because the account has been closed. Meanwhile, my money is gone. The check was cashed at a bank only a few miles from Encore, so you can figure that one out...Anyone know which bank Encore deals with?

I'm happy to say that I've made several strides over the last year or so, improving my credit report. A few items were removed and SOL affected a smaller percentage of them and wound up falling off automatically. I have one reporting from Capital One which shows as Charged Off, which I would love to get them to just write paid as agreed. Does anyone know how I can convince them to change the status of that account>> Also, I have one EXTREMELY negligent account, which I disputed, but they've confirmed to the CRAs. This is LVNV Funding and they're comment is SERIOUSLY past due.

im a kid that always likes to live large. one time i lit a cigar with a $50 doller bill just to show off to my girlfrend. im a big tipper too, an i always grease the head waiters for givin me the best of everything. tipping 150 % aint nothin for me to do, pretty common for me. all my friends no i aint cheap. problem is, most of the time i didnt have no money. i busted into newspaper machines sometimes, othre times, i was jackin up the grade school kid for lunch money and stuff. i stole from my ma's purse too, im not real proud of that but you gotta do what you gotta do.

ASG just called my work, and talked to someone else named Rachel. I guess they don't confirm who they are talking to cause the other Rachel just called to let me know she had them on the phone and that they were a debt collector for target and she didn't know if i wanted to talk to them or not. I told her to send them to me, and i promply hung up. I looked up target and i can still make payments through them, so I am going to call ASG when I get home from work and tell them that. How do you think that'll go? Rachel
