Ok, so I just got an email dated yesterday saying that check city is now pursuing legal action against me. I haven't been served, just received the email. Is it still possible to stop legal action, if I work out a payment plan before then? They have the number to their collections department, and they said to call immediately to get information on my balance, and the legal proceedings. Can this still be stopped? :(

I recvd a disturbing, threatening call from a lawyer last night regarding a payday loan I took out a few years ago. He said the lender was American Cash Advance. I also took out a loan from US Fast Cash, but that is not what this one is about. I remember it was about $400. I know I paid that back, plus interest. I do know it kept on adding up. As a single mom I did not know what to do. I consolidated the 2 loans but it seemed to never get paid.

So today was the day I was supposed to pay my payment to Cash Call, and surprisingly, not a phone call happened all day when I didn't call. Maybe they are actually going to follow my C&D letter, or maybe, I'll get a bunch of phone calls starting tomorrow morning. The thing I'm stressing out about most is of course my credit report, but I'll keep fighting that battle too... Can you keep disputing the same item on your credit report multiple times?

BOA agreed to settle my second loan with $26000 from $126000 that we owe. My loan accout was charged off due to not being paid and now I want to settle so that I can get off the second loan and keep my home .( Initially I planned to foreclosure). If i borrowed 255$ and was supposed to pay back 300$ and was not able to pay off my loan so i end up owing 315$ total with the 15$ bounce fee....... Can the company offer me a "deal" i give them 60$$ which is 45$ for the fee and 15$ for the bounce fee and have me get another 255$ loan which basically pays the 315$ i owe them..... Hello, i have three payday loans wich i cannot pay back at the moment. One of them is with Horizon Cash Advance. I have closed my bank account and was wondering if they will take me to court. I would like to set up a payment plan but dont know if online companies like Horizon will do that. Has anyone here had any dealings with Horizon Cash Advance?
