SOL and collection

19 years 3 months ago
I found this site and it's been helpful, but I have a question. I got a call from a CA, (and haven't called them back because I wanted to ask some questions here first)and I think I know what they are calling about, and it's about a debt that goes back to 1992 or 93. Now here's my question: How should I deal with the CA, should I ask for a date on last payment and say the the debt is to old and stop calling or ask for a validation letter and reply ? Any info and suggestion are greatly appreciated.

What to do with this email? By Sonic Cash

19 years 3 months ago
This is the email I received in reponse to my account being closed and the debt being turned over to T&C. As of right now you have $300 that is set for payment on 5/30. Your only options are to either allow that payment to get sent to your account, or have us put the account into default. If the payment is returned by your bank you'll be charged a $20 NSF fee. The only way we can put your account into default is if you set up arrangements for the full balance. By putting into default you'll still be charged the $20 fee.

Loan help

19 years 3 months ago
Okay, I'm new here and have been wandering through the forums. I keep coming across these great T&C comments. What is it and how can I contact them? What I am really looking for is a quick loan to help me out - not a PDL (preferably). I have a job this summer across country and my student loan money did not come through. I cannot get approved for an alternate loan as I have bad credit, cleaning it up, but it is still bad. I need some help so I can get the funds for this trip and something to live on for two weeks until I get paid. Any ideas? Thanks.

We all know this is Jacobi and Mayers as wells as Ted Crosby and associates as wells as United Federal Bank and Internet Wire Compliance Bureau. Their new location is Seminole Florida and the phone number is 321-206-4136, They have moved to a new location to avoid problems with the FBI in Jacksonville. This is within the jurisdiction of the Orlando Florida FBI. To contact the Orlando FBI call 407-875-9976 They are still doing the same thing as before. Calling and threatening with so called case numbers and arrest. DO NOT ADHERE TO THEIR THREATS!!!

Help me understand the SOL concept

19 years 3 months ago
can you please tell me what the Statue of Limitations is based on? Is it where the creditor is located or where I actually lived when the account was opened? Can you share with me where I can find the SOL information on the different states? Does the SOL start from the date of last payment made on the account, from when the account was charged off, OR from when the account was opened? thanks

Capitol One Auto

Ok, I know most of you guys know my situation with the payday loans, but heres a little behind the scenes info on how I got there. Last July I purchased my very first home. I thought that I had finally gone to the side of the cliff and jumped off, in other words I was a nervous wreck. In October my husband had a heartattack on the jobsite, framing--construction, and had to have a stint put in. Needless to say, he lost his job, they said he was too big of a risk. Then in November I totaled our car, a 99 Nissan Sentra. My insurance, State Farm, paid 3,200.00 of a 5,400.00 debt.

I went in and closed my bank account. :) Right now, I am on hold with the T & C. Will give an update after I go through the approval process with the T&C.
