I live in california and i am considering filing for chapter 13 bankruptcy. My secured debt is $1,190,00 which exceeds the limit of $1,081,400 and my unsecured debt is about $200,000. My total debt is less than the maximum debt of $1,441,875. Do I still qualify for chapter 13?

I have received calls yesterday and today from a company name Capital Management Solutions saying that I owe a payday loan since the year 2007 in the amount of $255.00, and I need to make arrangements for the payment if I do not do that I will be served with a Subpoena to go to court. Supposedly this debt goes back to early 2007 when I was living in PR and the money was deposited to my bank account in PR and supposedly the did not recover the money from me. I was also informed that they were going to serve the documents in my office today if I did not make any payment today.

Hello everyone! I have a question and I'm sure the answer is quite simple but I just want to be sure I am doing this properly. Tiny bit of back story: I have a collection agency bill on my credit report of $1,200. Recently I paid $600 of that to try to shore this thing up and then pay the rest within a month or so. I have a remainder of $600 to pay. I am willing to pay that in full. I don't think that when I do that it will be "deleted" off of my credit report. I read that you can do a "pay to delete" form and mail that in.
