I have a different situation i think. I have a loan with MyNextPayCheck. I have been dealing with them (use to have other names) for about three years. I have to say they have been very helpful as far as when i needed a quick short term loan. I always borrow and pay off the balance on my very next pay date. This last time i borrowed $350. The pay off is $455. I'm not complaining about that, i know this is the route you have to take when you have messed up credit. Ok my loan agreement is to have my first payment taken out of my account on 8/3/2012.

hi! I have to say that after spending many many hours this weekend trying to figure out how the heck to get myself out of this cycle of hell, you guys have given me some hope!!! I live in michigan. I know that the regular store loan places are legal and if I am correct the only online legal one is check n' go. Here is my sad story.... the first 2 are the store front kind. advance america- 565.45 (borrowed 500). did sign up for the installment plan which i paid the $16 and then they broke it up into 3 payments, so 6wks total to pay it back at 188(and change).

I got a message a couple of days ago from Greystone Alliance, Who I later found out was a collection agency. A couple of days later I got notification that an inquiry was made on my credit report, and a hard inquiry at that. It was listed that the same company (Greystone) issued the inquiry. I do know that I owe money to Chase, and am working on getting enough money to make a deal with them on paying it off, but for right now I'm just curious as to why the collection agency would place an inquiry on my credit report...

I have 5 payday loans, all internet, with: Money Shop USA 410.00 payoff (350 principal - paid interest) DMA Financial 410.00 payoff (350 principal - paid interest only) Paramount Cash 650.00 payoff (500 principal - paid interest only) Check N Go 381.87 payoff (300 principal - paid interest only) Cash Fairy 650.00 payoff (500 principal - paid interest only) Is it legal in Alabama for me to close my checking account first before dealing with them?:confused:

I am currently in default with the Cash Store. I've been receiving calls/letters from Cottonwood Financial offering a repayment plan of 5 payments for $230. I have acquired unexpected medical bills and there's no way I can pay $230 every 2 weeks.. I've tried asking for lower payments, but they won't budge. I'm afraid of them sending me to collections or small claims court. I'm wondering if I should prepare a wage assignment for my employer. Any help would be beneficial. Thank you so much

I took out a payday loan w check n go online in florida........ran into some financial difficulty....normally i would payoff one and get a new one right away so now I have two out......what can they do....can i be arrested......i cant afford to pay full amount back

I have a payday loan with 500fastcash, Red Cedar Services Inc.(online lender) It was for $600 and I have paid a total of $540 back with none of it touching the principal, so at this time I still owe $780 with the fees. I have been working very hard to clean up my debt and am working with a very good consolidation group, however they do not work with 500fastcash. I have been doing some research and I see a lot of information regarding this group being illegal to operate in the US.

I'm hoping that I can get some helpful information about my Career Training loans through Sallie Mae. They are private loans that I took out while attending Remington College in 2005-06, at the time that I signed the Promissory note I admit I did not understand that this specific type of loan is not eligible for deferment or forbearance. At first, when I had a decent paying job I was able to make the payments, but I went back to school and no longer had a full time job so I couldn't afford the payments.
