I am now dealing with a 4th collection agency for a debt that I do not owe. I had sent a validation letter to the last agency, to which I had heard no response from. Then I receive a letter from another company - First Performance Recovery - about the same issue (to which I sent another validation letter). The 1st three agencies could not validate the debt; how long am I going to have to deal with these agencies? I have tried contacting the original lender (Sears), who sold it to another company. They will not speak with me, and refer me to the CA they are dealing with.

Hey everyone, I have been posting and reading this board for a little while now, and a few things have aroused my curiousity. Please do not advise me to sign-up, etc. because I am NOT looking for debt consolidation. I am simply curious about a few things. 1. I have read on these boards that T and C does not consolidate payday loans in NC. Is this true? I am in NC and do not know of any credit counseling agency that consolidates payday loans. If T and C does do this in NC it would be a helpful resource to me.

Can anyone tell me if you can still qualify for a home loan with a current IRS debt? Currently, my spouse and I are in payment arrangements with the IRS for income tax debt. We have been paying successfully; however we are trying to figure out if this debt needs to be paid in full before even applying for a mortgage or if that is necessary. Any help is appreciated. :?:

OK guys- If anyone read my other post about my T&C payment, you know I am in a bind. I have got to get some of these loans dismissed in order to have money to live on. I have looked at the Texas Attorney general site and the consumer commission site. I guess I am not bright enough to find what I need. I am looking for the laws for Texas that says these PD places have used illegal practices with me and my accounts. I have seen a lot of you cite specific laws in letters that you have used to get the loans marked as paid in full. Please help me find what I am looking for. Thanks, Crystal

They are at it again 2 of my co-workers at work received phone calls with left messages about have me or my lawyer contact them imediately this is getting bad when you call my co-workers and leave messages. I am typing a validation letter any advice from anybody else on what to do?

I have run into a bad situation and need some advice. I have 8 pd loans consolidated with T&C. I got behind about 6 weeks ago and I have been paying them 2 weeks behind since then. There has not been enough money to catch them up. They have been ok with this so far. Now the problem- our hot water heater busted this weekend and had to be replaced. Now I do not have the money to pay T&C until the 1st. So that would make me running one month behind. I do not want to lose all that I have already paid in.

Anybody ever dealt with them. I sent them an email and a fax to revoke authorization, and just got off the phone with them after receiving an email from them that stated i needed to call them before they could stop the ach for the 14th i asked the girl if they were licensed in the state of illinois and she said she didnt know i would have to ask there legal dept. i told her i couldnt believe she worked there and didnt know if they were licensed in the state of illinois needless to say she got a little defensive. so ill just wait and see now if they try and take the money tommorrow.
