I am be sued a lawyer on behalf of a bank.

19 years 4 months ago
Hi all, Please give me some advice. I am being sued by lawyer on behalf of a bank for non payment. Because I don't have a steady job, I've unable to pay the bill. Is there really a way to reduce the payment through negotiations? If so, should I do it with the bank or with the lawyer?? Thanks

Advance America and Ace Cash Services

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has dealt with Advance America and Ace Cash Services? I've recently setup with TC, and have had Advance America call at my work 2 days in a row. I notified TC. Anyones experience with these two companies? I got the loans in California. Just wondering how bad it could get?

Warren Schembs\ PD6 Ventures/Express Cash

Here is another looser that PD6 Ventures/Express Cash has trolling lines for them. Don't take any $hit from this guy, and don't take him seriously either. "He" is one of a few people I have seen and heard of making threats to people from PD6 Ventures/Express Cash. I don't think that is his real name, in fact, I don't think any of these people could all appear in a room together at the same time, if you know what I mean. Really gives you alot of insight into the kind of company this is, and I use the word "company" very loosely here.

Does anyone know - they rolled my account hands to hands

19 years 4 months ago
I have a question,Sears sold my account in Jan.06 to LVNV,whopassed it to Resurgent, who passed it to Phillips-Cowan. When LVNV got it I did the debt validation thing, then it got passed around. To make a long story longer,my question is, when phillips-cowan got it,I tried to work a payment plan, they weren't interested,so about 2-3 week ago I sent them a debt validation request. Woops, forgot the question :? My question, since they fall under the umbrella of LVNV will they validate this,or try to call it good since LVNV did it?

EZPayday Loans? Anyone heard of this company?

19 years 4 months ago
Hello, Has anyone dealt with EZPayday Loans? I have an account with them but I'd like to know what they are all about as they are already threatening me to add all this interest and extra late/NSF fees to my account that will be due immediately. Please let me know of any information about this company and how to handle this. Thanks!

PDL Update

Hi everyone, I'm sorry I haven't been around as much as usual but it seems there are some great people to help out :-). I've leard a lot from the posts over the last couple of days. So much new information and so many new people seeking help with payday loans. Remember, that you are not alone, we are here to help. I probably won't be around as much as usual due to work schedule, family, and my sick doggy. I'm in the process of ending my relationship with T &C. They were great to work with and I highly recommend them. :-) I have three lenders left and I'm going to fight them on my own.

Need help with a reply...

I received an email from Quikpayday about the payment being returned unpaid. First of all, I had revoked their authorization to withdraw funds 2 WEEKS ago, and sent the notice via mail and fax twice each. I also sent a fax informing them of Virginia law, which requires anyone lending to a VA resident needs to be licensed in VA, and there is a $15 per $100 cap on fees. This is the reply I received from Quikpayday today (note the rep doesn't acknowledge receiving the fax or letter, nor being contacted by T&C for payment arrangements).

Recently, you advised that you believe you are not obligated to pay your debt because, in your opinion, the loan agreement is not consistent with the laws of your state. According to the contract you esigned. This debt is governed by New Mexico law, not the laws of the borrower's home state. The loan agreement and the acknowledgement page each contained explicit choice-of-law clauses in which the borrower agreed to be bound by New Mexico law.
