Hello everyone, ID theft is very time consuming to overcome but here are a few steps to take to get back on track. 1. Call your local Social Security Administration office and report that our Identity has been stolen. 2. Call, email or write ALL 3 Credit bureaus requesting that they indicate on your report that your Identity has been stolen 3. Call the FTC and report what happened. If you already have businesses that have not confirmed that the actual borrower was you then you have a complaint to work with. 4.

i am refinancing my house. the mortgage company is requiring that they pay any collections under 2 years old. i tried to explain to them that the account was sold, and the collection agency put a new date on the account. the agency had listed the amount owed as 9,576.00, and they turned it over to a law firm to collect. inorder to refinance my home, i agreed to pay $6000.00 as full payment. now the collection agency wants the remaining amount $3,576.00. can the collection agency require that i pay the remaining ammount?

When I logged in to the forum today, I noticed two new buttons at the top of the forum pages – I have already sent the thread Spread the message: Victims of 1000% interest rate to more than 1000 of my friends just to make them aware of the Payday loan facts and they are happy to receive it. I got am email from Grace at Sonic and our loan is PAID IN FULL! She stated in the email that she didn't realize what was going on and sorry for the treatment we received. I believe that like I believe we will get a foot of snow next winter. I thought I was going to have a heart attack when I read the email. I have successfully defeated two and trying to defeat another. Thank you to all who have helped me. Hats off to you all! :D

Hi Everyone, I am in MO words can not express how glad I am to find this site. :D This might sound goofy but I was beginning to think I was the only one with PDL problems. I am not late and haven't defaulted yet but the path ahead looks bad financially, I have signed up with Freedom Point to handle my CCs (They do not handle PDLs anymore.) So here I am approaching not only the consolidated payment for my CCs, now I have to pay the PDLs. AAAACCCKK, I can't decide if I feel like I'm going over a giant waterfall or drowning :cry: Help :!: Please :!:

I have tried to contact Quickpayday by email to request my balance. I got my statement from T&C and they showed my balance with QPD as larger than when I started 3 months ago! With all the fees and interest plus the payments thru T&C, I have paid them above and beyond what my original balance was. Anywho- the email was returned with a permanent error. Does anyone have any other contact info for them? Thanks, Crystal

Ok, I'm not really scared, although the people calling me are trying their best.. More concerned. A little history, I lost my job and was unemployed for a while. I had a bunch of credit cards and was living beyond my means even when I was working, so of course, long story short I've fallen into a hole. I had my first conversation with a collection agency today. I can't believe how rude these guys are. He kept badgering me, telling me I need to pay today.. I'm in breach of contract.. threatening to get my mother on the phone (no, I'm not a minor!).. asking for the name of my lawyer...
