I've been receiving phone calls every morning from a company called MCM. They are calling for my son, who is 31 years old and is doing mission work in Chile and has been for over two years. When I tell them that, they just hang up and call again the next day. From my research I see they are a bad debt collection company, but I can't give them any more information than I have. We communicate through Facebook and email. Am I within my rights to, for instance, to blow a whistle into the phone when they call?

My banker says a FIA CSNA inquiry was made on May 23 2012. What does this mean as I have never heard of it.

Has anyone else used Care One for Debt Settlement ? I have signed with them first payment comes out August 1st. Was wondering if you have had any problems and how it is working out for you. I am really hopeful that this is going to work.

It has been my understanding that if I have been making payments on a debt, and I am not denying that I have a hospital bill I have been making payments on, that they could not turn that over to a collection agency...(since I have made payments on that bill.) Evidently, my little, not regular payments are not good enough for this bunch... All of you who work for or have worked for this bunch...you need to drop your snotty A$$ messages...you have some of the snottiest reps I have ever heard...and you leave a message saying that "your call is ONLY FOR so-and-so and to hang up if you are not so

Dear Sir / Madam ; I reside in California and took out a loan of 700 from a company called Qloot.They have been taking out 200 every two weeks and they have already took out 900 from my account and they told me that I have to pay them 600 mote if I would like to pay it off, otherwise they will continue to take out 200 every other week , I pregnant and on disability now and I cant afford 300 anoymore every other week and dont have the funds the oay an extra 600 on top of 900 they have already taken out for 700 loan . Please advoce me a way to.get rid of.this hard situation

how much would my monthly bill with a debt of 7500

first of all i would like to thank for forum for helping me to get out from under my payday debt. i received e mail from magum, paid in full. letter from red stone today that i will receive a paid in full letter and a refund by july 28th. great plains lending will be paid in full after 2 payments to pay the balance of the principal. you guys have been a life saver, since i didn't know any of this information before finding this site. thank you:D:D

I had been with a debt settlement co (Re-liance Inc) for 3 years. They settled 2 of the the 3 credit cards I owed. Now it looks like they have closed shop. The last time I spoke with them in Feb/Mar, I was told to contact them again, once I was ready to settle with the last Credit Card Co and had 50% of what I owed. I've been trying to reach them since May, but to no avail. Until last week they still had a website. What do I do? My redit report says that the account was charged off. What does that mean? I received 1099 forms from the other 2. How can I settle this last one?
