Please tell me what I need to do. I am so angry about right now. I spoke to T&C today and they advised that Magnun Cash has doubled the amount that I owe them. Don't think so!! I am immediately going to send out a debt validation letter and a cease and desist letter. What else do I need to do? They are out of Delaware. I am going to going to check and see if they are licensed in the State of Indiana. Please help me because there is no way I am paying them double. Thanks, Melissa

I would like for somebody to help me with the payday letter's I keep reading about where you paid so much and the charges they have added is out of this world. Also how do you send a letter to a payday company to validate. I need help please.............

Ok, I left for work early, so I could vaccum the floor a bit and move somethings around.. I got here at my regular time. It is snowing like crazy and icy...I actually had to pull over for about 10 mins just to catch my breath. I almost wrecked 3 times. I'm very panicy in bad weather anyway since my accident last year...yuck, I hate this. I'm moving somewhere that doesn't snow..lol :)

There is a creditor that we had included with the debt settlement company, that I guess is not willing to work with the debt settlement. At no time though did they send us a letter stating such. They had turned the acct over to a law office in my area, and I had forwarded the letters from the law office to my counselor. Well, today I was served with a warrant of debt. Is the next step that they are going to attempt to garnish my husband's pay?

Anyone familiar with the laws for payday loan companies in Florida? I am searching for information but keep getting nowhere. Also, if payday loans are done over the web, are the companies bound by our state laws or are we bound by the laws of the location of the payday companies??

I am up early this morning mapping out my plan for the day. My credit union has been giving me a hard time about stopping payment on prearranged electronic withdrawals that are now in consolidation. Someone here on the forum directed me to Regulation E. I did some research on it and it seems to say that the banks must stop payment on these withdrawals at the customer's request. But before I go back to the bank today and mention this I was wondering if anyone else had any more info on Regulation E or if you could confirm that my interpretation is correct.

In 2003 I was informed by AT&T that I had met all prior financial obligations with them and no longer needed to send any payments for a phone bill because they would be returned/credited to my acct. As of this last week I received a letter from a creditor stating that they are collecting on behalf of AT&T. Is this legal. Can misinformation given by that creditor then be used against a debtor

All, Just recieved yet another phone call from CMC, Credit Management Control, after sending Certified letter, which stated NO CALLS, contact by US Mail only! Is there a sample letter available that I can use for contacting local AG office as well as the FTC, for reporting said violations?? They recieved and signed for letter sent. They have NOT bothered to reply in writing, only attempted to make 3 phone calls, so far.
