FYI - Apparently 1st Credit of America is buying accounts from Pinion Management North and ameriloan because I got 2 demand emails from 1st credit for accounts that I had with Pinion and Ameriloan. Also, I had one with BMG Group that Ellis and Crosby originally called me about.....1st Credit has it now. Of course in all cases the amounts are way more higher with an additional Collection Fee attached in all cases!!!! Does anyone have the fax number for 1st Credit of America in Chicago so that I can fax a validation letter to these idiots?

Has anybody had dealings with this number I received a call at work from a Mr. Tillet very rude telling me to get a lawyer. I have made a couple of payments on this account and told him I couldn't make another one until payday. He was rude. Equifax sent my husband a letter stating that they have put his report on 'fraud alert' and was contacting the other two bureaus about it as well. Experian also wrote to say they have done so too. Both said we are entitled to a free report now-just request within 90 days.

Would it be possible for debt consolidation Form to put a form together, that members can fill out electronically, for the purpose of documenting companies/collectors that have broken the law. Perhaps if enough complaints are accumulated on one company, this will be indicative of members pursuing a class action lawsuit.

Today my employer received a wage assignment from paydayok. I thought they were happy with our payment arrangements, I guess they want it paid off faster. Anyway, I did not get one at home. I have no idea what to do here. i really don't want to be garnished for $198.26. I'd like to keep making payments..I saw the sample letter for revoking the assignment, but will that work for me? It says on the assignment that the only way you can stop it is by either paying the amount in full within 20 days or proving that you don't owe the debt, which I do. Any advice?
