Then about 2 minutes later my phone at work rang and it was Sukie with CTC. I explained to her- yet again that I have consolidated with T&C and that they are now handling my financial obligation. She said it doesn't matter, they don't deal with credit counseling places.

I made a payment on some bad checks that I had out there a few months ago to the Prosecuting Attorney Bad Check Restitution Program and waiting for the paperwork to be sent my way. I never received anything and now I got a call from the same lady yesterday telling me that the proceedings have already taken place and the paperwork is in the court system. I wanted to set up another payment or plan with her, but she told me that it was too late and there was nothing that I could do. I called the stores that the checks were from and they confirmed that the checks had been passed on to there.

I have a payment arrangement made with Allen Lewis & Associates on a pastdue account and had requested that they put in writing the arrangment that was made and mail to me before I send them any money. I contacted them today since I still haven't received anything in writing and they are stating that they do not mail out arrangements. This does not seem right, are they not legally supposed to send me documentation outlining a payment arrangement if I requested it?

This place is calling here every 1/2 hour. When I answer, dead air. The name shows up on the caller id but they block their number.

Can anyone please suggest a bank that may allow for me to open a checking account up if I have had a closed bank account in the past due to overdrafts, etc. I am trying to clean up my history and would like to be able to open up an account. Most of the banks look at telecheck and chex systems.

I had my endoscopy yesterday! It wasn't too bad. I was sedated, but still partially awake. It wasn't painful at all. The found some esophogial polyps, and are doing a biopsy on them, and the coloring of my esoph. was kind of whitish. I have acid reflux, so they're pretty sure that's why, but the biopsy will tell them more. I also have a stricture, which to my understanding is my esophagus was too small, so they stretched it. I have to take Prilosec to help control the acid, and see the doctor again in 1 month.

Okay, I pulled my credit report and found some items that were not mine, along with 3 social security numbers that ARE NOT MINE....amazing!! I'm in the US Military and have little time to look at my credit and never knew anything was wrong. One of the items on my report was from a company called Asset Acceptance for ALMOST 6K. I was floored. I sent them a validation letter (form I found on line). Here is the response letter I got..."We are in receipt of your correspondence regarding information reported by a credit reporting agency related to the above referenced account.
