2 weeks ago, I received a call from someone named Sam Cobbs at Jacobi & Mayors in Wyoming saying he was calling because I was in "a lot of trouble". I called back and to make a long story short, he's working on behalf of Platinum B Services to collect on a payday loan which I thought was paid off from 2 yrs ago. He says if I don't send a Moneygram, they'll have me arrested. Anyway, I sent him the $$ (stupid me). Last night, I get a call from someone who says my atty needs to call 1-866-201-4603 by 12PM today.

I have a loan with Quikpayday.com. I live in NC and when I log into members section I get a message that they are having administrative problems with the state of North Carolina and I cannot take out any future loans with them until they resolve these issues. Does anyone know what is going on? Under their contact information, the only thing listed is an email address for customer service--- there used to be emails to about for different deparments (collections, extensions and 2 more i can't think of) as well as their toll free number, now I only see a Utah phone number.

Okay this concerns the credit bureaus and the disputes I have in with them. I mailed letters out to all bureaus on December 13. One to each one for my report and one to each one for 'mr shirleys' reports. lol. In the past 30 day plus time frame, I have received ONE report on me from transunion. And husband got one report on him from equifax. He hasn't gotten his transunion one and I haven't gotten my equifax one. But equifax sent me a letter a couple of weeks ago asking for verification of SSN, so that's why they're past the 30 days. Nothing from Experian.

how can i consolidate my cash advanced loans to have this interstate compliance to stop calling me i would rather pay one agency then 5 thank you what do i need to do

Greetings All, I just discovered this forum and their seems to be such a wealth of knowledge and expertise by so many..I'm looking for suggestions on how, where to start. My wife and I are closing on a home end of Feb 06'. We've established good credit because we always pay and on time. However, we have 12 cards that have accumulated $23,500. We also have 4 children and really need to get this debt down to be sure meet our mortgage payments. Or at least get some piece of mind into one payment with lower interest.

My mother filed for Chapter 13 a few years ago. She now has new debt which is over $7000. Can she add this debt to the amount that she is paying back?

I got a $200 loan from them in November of 2005, I lost my job and got into a bad car accident in December of 2005. I was unable to pay the loan back by the due date, so their customer service people eventually called me to make a payment arrangement, because everytime I called their 1-800-680-2177 line I could never get an answer just an answering maching with this English ladys voice telling me to leave a message.
