I have almost perfect credit after years of work trying to recover from a BK 10 years ago. Our debt is starting to soar again due to job loss and the min. payments are killing us. I am concerned about how much of a hit our credit rating would take if we consolidated our credit card debt.

I do not have any paperwork from them and when I ask them to email me some proof, I have been told twice they would send it and I have not received anything from them yet. They are threatening me with garnishing my wages and notifying my employer. 3 weeks ago I set up a payment plan to come out of my savings but thank God nothing has happened with that.
