I made an online bill payment through my bank on Oct 1. The company to whom the bill was paid posted it on Oct 06. it was one day after the deadline. They added a late fee on it and upon my notification of the payment made well before the due date, they gratefully refunded it. I wonder why it took 5 business days to get the money transferred from one computer to another computer. The money was sent from my account on the 1st. my bank was fast enough to send the payment but the receiving end was pretty slower. Has anyone gone through this problem and have a solution.
