Hello All, I just started writing in the forums this week. It is very addicting by the way. Anyway, I guess my story is pretty simple. I am a shop-o-holic, or used to be anyway. I got my first credit card when I was 18 and from 18-23 years old...I basically lived off of it. Its really weird because when you owe like 300...you say to yourself...well I have three hundred on my card already, so whats the difference if I owe 3 or 4 hundred. So you spend a little more. Then hundreds grow to thousands and you say to yourself...whats the difference if I owe 3,000 or 4,000.

Hi, I have been receiving phone calls all hours of the day and night looking for a Thomas Devine. I was referred to as a "White ****" I filed a complaint with the FTC and Commonwealth of Massachusetts Criminal Division/Attorney General Office. Also they block their lines so that Verizon cannot trace the call. They also won't give out their phone number or address. I have gone online and traced this company to Middle Eastern Executives.

Question: I am with a debt consolidation company that is working with my payday loans (amazing!!!!). I recieve a statement of activity each month from the company showing who gets how much money each month. I still have one of my payday loan companies calling and harrassing me saying that they are going to garnish my wages if I do not pay them directly. As long as they are recieving money (even though it is from my agency) can they legally do anything?

Has anyone ever dealt with the Payday Loan company Cashnet? I am giving them money each month, but I still am getting harrassing phone calls about garnishing my wages, etc..... as long as I am paying them something each month can they really garnish my wages?

My girlfriend has been going to the same bank since she was like 12 and first opened an account. Her mother also goes to that bank. She applied for a personal loan to get a used car and they saw that she owed MBNA some money from the past. She knew that she had paid them and so she got a letter saying that she had paid them. MBNA said that they reported that she paid in full like nine times and it still wasn't put on her report! So since she didn't have that great of credit...her mom co-signed for her and she was still denied the loan!

I live in the state of Florida and we are currently under a hurricane watch and I am kinda scared because what happened to Loiusiana,I just hope that things get better and it really misses us I mean what is the world coming to these days all these hurricanes are destroying us I remember back when it wasn't like this the hurricanes would always make a different turn but now I really don't know I will pray and ask god to watch over all of us! :cry:

what debt can be included in the consolidation?

If I do not own a house and still live at my mothers can I qualify for a loan? I have the deed to her home but she is no longer living and the house was never put into my name. Is this still use for a loan.??
