I have decided to join my school again and I am sure that my application will be approved. The problem lies with funds. My credit is not very good. I've lost my last job very recently. Moreover I owe some default student loans. When I contacted a student loan servicing company, they told me that I won't be able to get the federal aid any more. Anyone else here having similar problem? Can anybody suggest me someway so that I can enter my school by next academic session?

I have been visiting your site regularly to gather necessary information on fighting against debt. Since the last few days, I realize that the pages in this site take too long to open. So here was/is my problem. I was fresh out of highschool and scored a major paying job. I moved in with my g/f and life was good. Bought a new cycle, had a paid off car, life was good. Then I discovered credit cards. Now I didnt need them, because I had lots of money, but I didnt have that money at once. And I figured, hey I can pay these credit cards without a problem. Then the car broke down and we bought a new one.

I have not finished paying for a vehicle that I currently posses for some 5 yrs now. The concern is the bank has sold my account to someone else and paid off most of the debt. I owe some $6k dollars on the vehicle. My question is can I negotiate payingoff what I owe and keep the car?
