hello guys! i was wondering if a person could lose his/her job due to a bad credit history... .

hello friends, im new to this forum and have just got a credit card.. need to monitor my credit history ..... i would like to know the difference between FICO nd the regular scores provided by equifax, transunion and experian. at annualcreditreport.com a free credit report is available. and at myfico.com the credit report costs money. i am unable to understand the difference and would request your advice pls.. looking fwd to ur replies. thank you!!

I have learned a lot just reading these posts. I had no idea that some cedit counselors are fraudulent and ruthless, namely crooks. I also didn't know that a credit card company can take you to court over $600?? Now I know who to stay away from. These folks prey on people who may have accrued debt from unemployment or sickness. That just plain sucks! Thanks for the info everyone and I will tell all about this service and this forum.

I currently have a "good" credit rating and am making the monthly payments, however with the new credit card repayment structure I am worried that this will stretch our budget too far. Is it possible to consolidate only my debt and not include my husbands -or mix and match? How does the fact that some credit cards are under the consolidation plan, but some are not affect my credit report? Thanks for your help

Hi. I had paid a charge off to a collection agency in full, it had to be the second or third letter I did not realize because I didnt open the mail. Now that it is paid and I didnt get anything in writing from them about what they would put on the credit report, does anyone know what I should do from here? Should I contact the collection agency about this or should I contact the credit reporting agencies about this?
