How long does it take to enroll in a debt consolidation program?

Please send me any info that you have on loans to consol my credit cards.

I currently have 11 outstanding payday loans. I have not defaulted on payments yet but I was thinking about calling them trying to make payment arrangements with them because they are taking a big chunk of my check and I may not be able to cover my other bills. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can deal with them myself? I want to pay them off but if they are not willing to work with me i'm gone to try a debt consolidation program.

I was contacted by United Christian and the counselor told me that they can't consolidate loans from Credit Unions...why not? ALL of my loans are from credit unions, so I'm still in a sticky situation...any ideas?

How long after I pay my debt back will it show on my credit report that is okay to give me credit again? If I was to settle will this look bad on my report?

My Girlfriend and I are in so much trouble and we don't even know where to start. I went to prison for a year and came back to $20,000 of over due bills and just want to get it cleared up so we can go on in life. I cant get a loan to have only one payment so I have no idea where to start. So please help me.

If I use your services, will this stop me from using my any of my credit cards? Not that I want to use them. I'd like to just have one and get rid of the rest.
