Do I have a right to sue a company that is trying to collect a debt , but they are call the wrong number, They have call up to 20 times a day . I have spoke to a least 5 people and told them that they have the wrong number but they keep calling. I now have a tracer on my telephone. And a police complaint. I want to sue them for this harassment.

I have 8 payday loans and I am in a viscous cycle of paying one off and needing another. My bankruptcy was discharged back in January and I bought and new car and ect and was doing good until me and my husband decided to get back together and his teenage daughter caused financial problems. Now they are gone and I am trying to recover. What do I do I can't get a loan to pay them off due to bankruptcy and want to get back on track and me and my husband are separating.

Hey! me again! I wasn't sure where to direct this question cause its not actually about collection agencies. BUT, can you tell an original creditor (account has never went to a collection agency) to stop calling? or is that just for collection agencies only??? I am a few days late on a payment and I have wrote and explained what was going on and what my intentions are. I gave them the whole plan...then I told them to stop calling me! YET they are calling ten times a day. And I know they have gotten my letter. thanks, shirley
