Since my credit in the "very poor" range, I didn't think I could get a decent loan from my bank... I found out, however, that if you offer to put 10-20% of your loan down, you'll have a MUCH better chance of getting a loan. So...when you go to apply for a loan, try to have a co-signer, some collateral and something to put down on the loan.

Ever since I was very young, and naive, I had planned to move out of parent's house as SOON as I turned 18. Screw authority, I wanted freedom! I wanted to be able to buy what I wanted, when I wanted, without anyone having any say in my choices. Coincidentally, right as I was turning 18, I met a guy at my workplace who was in the military at the time. Sean was essentially my partner in crime and after dating for 2 months, we decided I'd move into his apartment. Finally I was free! I had a great job, and he had a steady income as well.

I am going on my 3rd day and still haven't heard back from anybody regarding my debt. Why am I being ignored?

my bills are credit cards and utility bills, sbc, that are over a year old and also credit cards mayber two or three yrs old, and court restitution, collections past due, I can't say just how much but its overwhelming to even want to do something about it, I am on disability and social security and also have a bankruptcy approxamietly 5 yrs ago before I got divorced, and it was discharged but all the credit was in my name, only few good credit . Can this be done without bankruptcy for me now?

I had a credit card account with Providian it has been sold to 2 collection agancies. I want to know can I still pay providian and if so will that have the collection agaencies deleted off of my report with payment to providian.

:cry: My husband got a call at work from a man that claimed that he worked for a law office and was calling and saying that if he didnt pay 755.00 in 2 hours that they were going to arrest him at work and he was going to lose him job, kids, wife, and everything else that he had worked so hard for. When he told him that he worked for a company called Ellis and Crosby and that was all he told him and nothing else. When I called him he was rude and told me to be quite and that he was going to jail for fraud and internt charges.

Hi, I owe almost $8400.it is now in collections. I called to set a payment plan and they stated that they do not do payment plans. The most time they give is 12 mos. I can not pay that back in 12 mos. what can I do. Am I just screwed? What if any options do I have? Thank you
