What is the average interest rate you offer on one's consolidated credit card debt?

I was offered a loan for the amount of 5000 dollars at 7 percent interest with payments of 119per month.The downside is they want 900 for colateral which would cover my payments until next Feb. Is this a good deal?this would payoff all my payday loans and the 119 month payment would be a breeze.What do you think.

i have well over $30'000 worth of debt. $10'000 of which is secured debt. this is my question. if the bank repo's my car is that still concidered secured debt. and question 2 If the repo doesn't happen would i be able to consolidate the amount and make payments through a credit counceling agncy.

Unusual situation perhaps, but I have student loans from graduate school. I currently live with my mother which is where the bills are sent to, but Im moving abroad soon. I have no intention of paying these bills once I move. Even now I tell my mother not to pay them but she refuses and pays anyway. The only way to get her to stop paying these bills is to have the bills sent somewhere else. Its not right that she should have to pay my bills (though of course she insists). Would it be wise to have these bills sent to my new address overseas?

hi my fiancee is not sure if he has ever used citibank/sears card, he just got a bill but he doesnt know what for, we called citibank but they said they dont have list of purchases from that time, they say its pretty old bill...during last year he hasnt got any bills or payments and he is pretty sure he paid everything a long time ago, any idea what to do about it? thank you very much
