Do I have to be harrassed by creditors to get debt consolidation?

we are in the military stationed overseas, to return to States next summer. Fear mounting interest on unsecured debt will be out of control. Can we begin a plan now?

I have been with a Debt Consolodation Program for 3 years and I finally just terminated the account. I have nothing but trouble with them. They never return e mails, they gave my phone # to a creditor last year and some of my account balances have been increasing since I joined. I just got off the phone with them. I hope I did the right thing. I just didnt feel like they were on my side. I signed up for a free consultation to start a new program.
