Hi I have about 8 items on my credit report that have been paid but are still shoiwing up on my credit report as negative debts how do I get these removed off? Also I have 2 creditors, one is showing both on negative and postive and the other creditor has two of the same thing on the negative side. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

third party creditor agreed to $4800 of $5800 credit card debt. Called collector two days before money due to say 401K check would not be available for another day. She said no problem, we will post, but because of 4th of July holiday, will not present to bank for another couple of days. I said OK, even talked to a supervisor about it. Well, they presented check on the original date, the very day, I asked them not to and told them it wouldn't be there.

Is it legal for Universal Fidelity to phone me in California, harrass me when I have never had any dealings with this company befor? Do you know what action I can take against this company for the harrassment?
