I was told that i should close my recent bank account and go to a totally different bank and open up a new account. I should send letters to loan companies and revoking my ach deposits. I wonder will i have to do all that or can i just change my account number and stay at the same bank i live in the state of illinois. What should i do?

i CALLED TO MAKE MY jUNE 19TH 2012 PAYMENT AND ONE OF YOUR REPRESENTATIVES TOLD ME THAT YOUR SYSTEM WAS DOWN AND TO CALL BACK TO MAKE THE PAYMENT. i CALLED BACK AND THE PERSON SAID THAT i WAS GOING TO BE ASSESED A LATE FEE. tHIS WAS NOT MY FAULT THAT YOUR SYSTEM WAS DOWN. i AM A GOOD CUSTOMER AND THIS KINGD OF TREATMENT IS RIDICULOUS.

I live in Florida and have the following internet payday loans and they are wiping out my account the minute by check is deposited leaving no money to pay utilities, mortgage, etc. I need to know can they garnish wages or contact my employer. Here are the loans and amounts paid to date....Pepper Cash opened 3/1 for $750 paid to day $1355. American Web loan $700 opened on 1/;18 paid $1470.

Can the illegal internet loan company be contacted via email or does it have to be by registered letter?

recvd a call today from my fiancee informed me that huntington services was sueing for a breech of contract through anasazi services.claiming we took out a loan and it was deposited in our account. never took out a loan with these people. they stated the money of 250 was deposited in our nfcu account on july 2011. when we called the bank at first we were told no money was deposited as they looked further there was money deposited and the three days later withdrawn again . we never even used that account and needless to say took a loan out.

I was called by this number recently and I do believe i didn't ask the right questions and set up a payment plan for a old Verizon bill and thanking back I would like to know if this is a scam?? I am very worried they had my SSN, the last 4 digits, and my name. I would just like to know because they have all this personal information on me. What should I do? I am very young and very new to this.

Are Payday Loans legal in the state of Maryland...I looked at the date list ...but has it been updated to the present ???...I have a few of them and want to get rid of them once and for all...I live in Maryland...

So, I finally was able to close my account and my letters are going out tonight. I get paid Friday, so I am emailing my HR dept tonight about the revokation of wage assignment, just to cover myself. I'm concerned a little bit with my job and if this may reflect poorly on me once I send to my HR department, but I need to cover myself. I have been getting calls at my work number. Fortunately, I work remotely, so they just go to a switchboard. At any rate, thanks to everyone for the great advice on how to deal with these illegal low-lifes.

What do you do if a collection agency is trying to collect on an illegal online payday loan not licensed in your state? (From 2+ yrs ago!) The collection agency seems legit. I looked them up on the internet.
