Jody I can assure you that our business and the contracts that are signed by you the consumer are legal. You took out this loan knowing it was a payday loan. When you did the loan you also were asked to save a copy or print a copy of the contract for your own records. Now if you fail to do so then that it is not our responsibility. We advised you to do this before signing the loan documents.

What if I have two others loans that are not in my name but I pay the loans can i consolidate those loans as well.

I was forced to sign a 30k promissory note to approve the closing of my short sale with Bank of America. I actually closed on the short sale while never missing a mortgage payment (i stayed current). I was told to either bring a check for 10k to closing or sign a unsecured note with dyck oneil to be paid off in 60mo. ($500/mo). I paid for 6 months then could no longer afford it. I am getting nowhere in the settling attempts. I just want to have it removed from my credit as 180 days late.

I have read the entire thread and founds some good advice for those with current payday loan issues. My situation is that the bank closed my account a year ago, I still owe 3 online payday loans and I have had little communication with them. Would the advice mentioned in this thread still apply? Do I still have room to negotiate a payment plan or should I consider PDL consolidation?

My wife and I live in PA and she had a school debt back in 2005 (we were only dating a few months) for $1,500. Now it is 2012 (almost 7 years to the day) and this debt never appeared on her credit report, nor did she receive a collections call. She just received a call from a creditor saying to pay the debt, and she responded by saying that the statute of limitations has passed on this debt.
