Federal Credit Corp. letter

I got a letter from this company and it says at the top "the offices of" Federal Credit Corp P.O. BOX 599 Colleyville TX 76034.
I am in Massachusetts, they are NOT licensed to collect in my state and they are not a registered corporation in my state. So that is illegal. The debt they are collecting on is over 6 years old I think pretty sure last payment was 2002.
What should I do besides sending them a DV letter? Should I report them to the state or should I wait on that till they break the law more?

Definitely send a debt validation request, make sure you do so c
Definitely send a debt validation request, make sure you do so certified return receipt requested. Keep good records of any and all documentation with this company. If they do (and probably will) violate the FDCPA you could be building a good case against them to sue for $$$$.
