I currently have 5 pdl totaling more than 3500.00 I have not defaulted with any of them as of yet but the problem has come up that I have these payday loans and cant pay my rent or utilities. My husband's grandmother got sickly and he took a leave of absence from work to go to FL to help her before she passed away and I took out loans to help ends meet before sinking deeper and deeper into the hole. I would appreciate any help I can get. I have read that PDl; are illegal in the state of NJ.. I viewed the C&D letter that was posted on this forum and plan to send to them.

I have a 350.00 loan with oneclickcash and have paid 210.00 in finance charges
350.00 with united cash loans and also have paid 210.00 in fees
paychecktoday is 900.00 and have only made one payment of 270.00 towards finance charges and lastly 2 loans with magnum cash advance one for 1300.00 that 614.91 has been paid and a second advance with them in the amount of 900.00 that my husband took out in the amount of 900.00 and 739.96 has been paid. Any input will be appreciated.

Well, if you are from N.J. then the firs thing you need to do is CLOSE your account! Payday loans are prohibited in your state as you know, click th link below to read your payday loan laws for future reference:

This is what you owe these lenders, inform them that they will be receiving the remainder of the balance you owe them in the form of payments, via the mail-with money orders ONLY. Also state that you will send what you can, when you can send it, and only send what you can afford, not a penny more. If you can only send it once a month, so be it. They must abide by your terms now. They will try to tell you that you are governed by their laws (wherever they may be) but that's all BS. Your state law prevails, end of story.
oneclickcash - You owe $140.00
united cash loans - You owe $140.00
paychecktoday - You owe $630.00
magnum cash advance - You owe $685.09
2nd magnum cash advance - You owe $160.04
Don't accept anything less than a physical address from ANY of these lenders, if they say they can only accept money grams or debit cards tell them NO, also tell them NO address, NO payments, period. Don't speak with them on the phone if they call, hang up immediately, don't give them the satisfaction of even hearing your voice. CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.
