Hello everyone,
I live in California. I was given a 350 dollar by Ameriloan. I have paid 385. Since discovering this sight I have found out they are illegal. I received a final collection email from them today. I called and asked for their busniess lic# that allows them to do business in California and the guy in the collections department didnt even know it. I also asked for the address to where I could send money order for the final payment and he said they would only take debit or bank account numbers to get payment. So I called back and spoke to the customer service lady and acted like I wanted to get a loan but first wanted their business lic# that allows them to do bizz is California. She didnt even know it and she acted like they didnt need one. What should I do? Should I be worried about the final collections email? Also since I told them not to call me at work or home they havent. Thanks for the help.

Why would you send them anymore money? You have overpaid them as
Why would you send them anymore money? You have overpaid them as it is. I wouldn't be concerned at all about a bogus collection letter, they can't sue you because they aren't licensed! If I were you, I would demand a refund for 35 bucks and a Paid In Full letter. CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.
