I currently reside in Pa and am working on getting my PDL's resolved. Have 4 online payday loans. All not licensed in Pa. Just a quick question. I know these contracts are illegal not but at the time I electronically signed my name I didnt. Can these companies say that since I signed my name my state laws dont apply and that I knew what I was signing? One of my loans got sent to VCS collections. How can these payday loan companies send debts to a collection agency and have them try to collect a debt that was illegally lent in the first place? So mad at myself for getting myself into this mess!

Your state law prevails, period. All you need to do is inform the collection agency it was an illegal loan to begin with and they can't collect on it no matter how hard they try.
