Hi I stupidly took out a "Title Loan" from Check'N'Go online back in September for $2600 (rolled over my $255 + $45 interest loan into it) so really I got $2300 from it. My monthly payments have been $608 and I just made my 4th one but I apparently still have another 4 more payments of $608 to make!!! I tried making larger payments in the past but their website always gave errors when I tried to make payments online.

I received a letter today from Brachfeld Law Group stating they are working with LVNV Funding LLC regarding an unpaid debt of $2,100 (originally $1,500) and they are willing to settle for $850 but it is due in their hands in 3 days. All account information appears to be correct. Is this on the up & up and should I just pay it? I'm trying to keep up but I don't want to be buffaloed either. What should I do?

I just need someone to verify when that happened if anyone knows. I took out my loan with them several months ago and even filed with the Attorney General's office so it must have been recent. MY BIGGEST THREAT WAS WHEN THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY'LL SERVE ME AT WORK AND A SHERIFF WAS GOING TO ARREST ME. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN EMBARRISING. SO I FAXED EVERYTHING TO THEM LAST WEEK. HOWEVER, NO FUNDS WERE AVAILABLE IN MY ACCT AT THE TIME, SO I STRETCHED OUT MY TIME. HOWEVER I CHECK WITH MY BROTHER IN LAW AND HE IS FAMILIAR WITH THE POLICE INVESTIAGTIONS AND TOLD ME THAT IT SOUNDED FRADULENT.

I sent an email to 247 Greenstreet on January 4 notifying that I was aware that they aren't authorized in my state and requested a refund of fees paid. I got an email back today saying that they are licensed in the EU , blah, blah blah and although they can't refund any past fees, they will waive the fees from my last loan, which I still owe, and allow me to pay it in two equal amounts (which is do-able) and have the payment to them by March 16 (also do-able).
