I am currently in a DMP that is in the process of sending proposals to the creditors that I have past due accounts with. Unfortunately, they are having a problem verifying a BOA account that was sent to chex systems about 4 years ago. BOA is stating that the account never existed even though I have provided statements to my DMP from BOA with the account number on it. What can be done about this entry into CHex Systems and how can I get BOA to send me something in writing indicating that this account cannot be located

I am being taken to civil court by the above mentioned David J Apothaker,Esquire is named as the plaintiff not his law firm..according to papers i received i owe $903 my account was with Credit One Bank..my credit line was for $400..i have bank statements showing i paid Credit One Bank $212..it says my account was charged off have no clue why it was charged off or even went into collections ..i did some research on this Apothaker and it seems he is as spineless as a worm it shows he has a law office in Philadelphia,PA i live in Warren,PA is this guy really going to come to Warren,PA a 9.5

First of, I am new here and would like to say hi. Ok So I as contacted by a collections agency on Friday over gym membership I never signed a contract over. It has been 6 calendar days and nothing has came in the mail for me. What is my next step for me? I am not to send the validation of debt letter until I receive something right?

I was interested in your perspective on our situation: My wife got loans for her undergraduate, and I did a couple of 2-year study certificates in the early 90s, totally about 50k (35k her's, 15k mine). We were advised to put into a joint-consolidation loan FFEL which we did. We paid it down to about 40k over the first 8 to 10 years. Then we hit some financial troubles, deferred, reworked our careers and got master's. That 40k has grown to $75k due to interest alone! She has another 30k in grad loans, and i have 40k in grad loans.

From reading different posts in the forums, I understand that payday loans are illegal Arizona. So, what does this mean for me if I have loans out? Am I just to pay the principal only? I am drowing and need help to get out of this mess. I don't want to turn to consolidation, as I am current on these loans and they wouldn't be able to help me anyway from what I understand, but I need to get out of the mess now! Please advise!

I just received a call at work. It was a person called from NCW legal department, trying to collect on a payday loan I took out from Payday loan yes. I live in Ohio and know this is a illegal loan. He claims they are taking me to court to get $3000 in court fees. Of course, they want an answer in 30 minutes. I never recieved a collection notice from these people. I only borrowed $350. The number he gave me was 855-286-1922. Should I be in a panick about them going to court?

I have some pd loans, one from Ace Cash Express and the others listed below, what should I do going forward to stop these debits and what are the laws for Texas that I need to be aware of? I have contacted an assistance program for some help but want to see, I should close my Chase account and open a new one there or another back, send the ACH revoke form and make arrangements? I have not defaulted on any yet. If the fees are not correct than I have overpaid them already. I would appreciate advise from anyone.

My house got foreclosed on in December. I had an 80/20 loan. Frederick J Hanna contacted me a month after my foreclosure saying they represent Bank of America and I owe my 2nd mortgage for 50K. I told them i don't own the house and it was foreclosed on. He said only bankruptcy can save me. I'm 26 and already have a foreclosure i don't want bankruptcy. I've heard a lot of the dirty tactics of Frederick J. Hanna but don't know if i've seen information relating to mortgages. Anyone please help me what should i do? Should i just keep questioning proof of debt? please please help

I am drowning in payday loans and everything has suffered because of it. If I stop paying them what can happen? I know they banned all instore ones in arizona 2 years ago. I need to pay my other bills but i can't because of these loans that are drowning me. I need to pay my auto loan so that I don't get repoed. If I stop paying can I close my account and start over.
