Hi, All: I have asked my bank to add me to our home loan (currently in my wife's name), and they sent me a huge Loan Assumption package. Will this add me to the loan and allow them to begin reporting it in my name as well? The bank has said yes, but I think they are lying. I think they want me to fund a whole new loan. I cannot get a straight answer out of them. Is this a viable, low-cost way to improve one's credit score? This stack is huge and will take about five hours to fill out. I don't want to go through with it, unless this is a viable plan. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

I've paid my lawyer 90%of what I owe him for a Chapter 7. He won't return my calls or emails - even though I want to pay him the rest. He's a one person firm so there is no one else to turn to. I have creditors harassing me and showing up at work with small claims papers. I''ve already been once and had a judgement against me. What can I do? I need help right now so waiting isn't an option but I can't afford another lawyer Any advice please

If you were in the forum 4 or 5 years ago, you might remember me. I set up a sort-of "blog" site to discuss my own debt experiences and, ultimately, how I solved my debt problem. However, today, I made what will probably be my last post to that site. In so doing, I erased everything else that preceded it. deleted..pm It may raise a few hackles (grin).

My husband & I both lost our jobs.. to get by we both got a number of pd loans to pay our rent, car notes, etc. Long story short, WE ARE IN OVER OUR HEADS!! We have "law offices" calling us day and night leaving harsh voicemails and demanding we pay or legal action will be brought against us. We are just getting on our feet and we honestly do not have the money to pay them right now. Are the loans legal here? If so, does anyone know a good consolidation company to go through? If not, how do we stop all of these calls?

What does an Objection To Confirmation mean? I recieved one regarding my vehicle.

I took out several loans such as: My cash loan Cash net payday advance Omega Instal My cash center Plain Green Out of those 5 I already paid 2 but was surpised they really charged me alot of interest and yanked it out of my account which I thought would be payments and I am really struggling with all of this. My bank account had recently went into negative balance. I read on here saying that it is illegal for them to lend us money, is this true? Can I get a refund back after they had took my money out of my checking account? Do I close my checking account NOW?

I have a fraudulent lien on my marital home for a debt that is not mine. I signed no paperwork, nor was I even at the establishment. I now have 3 weeks to get them to remove this from the home. How do I do that?:confused:

I have 3 PDL. The first on is with mycashnow, the second one is with discountadvances, and the third one is with zip19. I am in a financial struggle and have had several unexpected medical expenses what can I do to consolidate this online loans. I am from Texas.
